Ms. Scott graduated from Arizona State University, Honors College, in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with an emphasis in East Asian Studies. She graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in 2002 with Order of the Coif distinction. Ms. Scott was student notes and comments editor of the Oregon Law Review and her student article was published in the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics. While a student, Ms. Scott served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Ann Aiken of the Federal District Court of Oregon. Also while a student, Ms. Scott was a member of the Bankruptcy Moot Court Team and received the ABI Medal of Excellence for highest achievement in her creditor’s rights course. Following her admission to the Oregon State Bar in 2002, Ms. Scott served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable David V. Brewer, now Chief Judge of the Oregon Court of Appeals. Ms. Scott was also a Legal Research & Writing Instructor at the University of Oregon School of Law before she joined the firm as an associate in July 2006. |
