Muhlheim Boyd is a boutique law firm representing clients in commercial disputes throughout Western Oregon. Our offices are located in Eugene, Oregon, where the Eugene Division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Oregon sits. Our practice takes us to Oregon state and federal courts sitting in Western Oregon and in Klamath and Lake counties. As a byproduct of our core practice, we have also developed a recognized level of competence representing clients in commercial transactions, business, and estate planning.

Our mission is to provide high-quality legal representation regardless of the complexity of the issues. We recognize that each client's problem is unique and deserves the same attention as any other client's problem. That the firm has attorneys prepared to handle the simple to the complex is as much a reflection of our cumulative legal experience as our dedication to serving all of our clients' needs. To fulfill our mission:

We restrict our representation to legal areas in which the firm's members have achieved proficiency, which includes, among others, representation of both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy matters, business transactions and reorganizations, estate and probate planning, and litigation in state and federal courts arising out of those areas.

We use current electronic technology to streamline our practice and facilitate client communication. We function as a "paperless" office, eliminating the endless paper chase that predated the ability to do so. As we capture documents and other records electronically, we provide them to our clients as electronic files. Our clients expect to receive documents and communications on the day they are received or generated.

We strive to understand our clients' ultimate goals to be achieved through our representation. Frequently, clients with significant experience in the legal arena have articulated their goals before engaging us to represent them. In other instances, our role includes formulation of realistic goals before the engagement begins. In either case, we attempt to assure that both we and our clients have clearly identified and attainable goals.
